MAP Achievement Level Descriptor Grids

What do students need to know and be able to do to score Proficient on MAP/EOC?

MAP Grids provide an important piece to the achievement puzzle.  This is a teacher friendly tool to identify what students need to “know” and be able to “do” at each of the four Achievement Levels.   Once students have been identified as Basic or Below Basic, the MAP Grids provide information to help teachers identify the necessary skills that will move them to Proficient and Advanced.  The MAP Grids were adapted from the Achievement Level Descriptors prescribed by DESE for MAP/EOC and sorted to help educators identify the skills and knowledge required to improve student performance.
