MSBA Online Consortium

School districts throughout Missouri have indicated a strong interest in offering high quality on-line and distance learning opportunities for our students. With that in mind, the Missouri School Boards’ Association, the University of Missouri College of Education and MOREnet are partnering to form the “MSBA Online Consortium.”
The purpose of the Consortium is (1) to serve as a coordinator of member-school districts, higher education institutions, educational associations and other interested parties; (2) to serve as a clearinghouse for the development and distribution of on-line courses; and (3) to serve as a resource center for professional development, technical support, financial planning and information related to regulatory issues.
Please take a few moments to complete a short survey by clicking here:

or by visiting the MSBA website at www.msbanet.org and clicking on the MSBA Online Survey link. The results will enable the Consortium to produce and distribute the online/distance learning content that would be most beneficial to your school district. The survey may be completed by superintendents, principals, curriculum directors, instructional technology directors, and counselors in each district. The results will be tabulated by survey item across positions among the districts to give a broad perspective of district needs.
We believe the use of online learning opportunities will only grow in the coming years. The MSBA Online Consortium will work closely with school districts throughout the state to meet this important need.
Thank you for taking the time to participate in the survey. A response by October 19 is appreciated.
Sincerely,
Carter D. Ward, Ph.D.
Executive Director, MSBA
