Currciulum Coordinator Retreat
 

SMCAA Curriculum Coordinators’ Retreat is an opportunity for curriculum coordinators to learn – share – reflect and create plans. This summer’s agenda will focus on ‘the curriculum changes the Common Core State Standards will require if districts are to meet the new achievement targets and standard goals.’

Participants will deal with ‘How to cultivate an environment for focused change, in curriculum, that guides enduring understanding without being overwhelmed by the stress of conflict and confusion. More Information

Curriculum-Instruction-Assessment Academy for Beginning Teachers

 

 

The SMCAA Curriculum – Instruction – Assessment Academy is designed to provide teachers who are in their first few years, new to a district, or new to the process of curriculum development with the tools necessary for contributive participation in the curriculum development and implementation process. The Academy will consist of two-days of intense work around curriculum and instructional issues, with a one - day follow-up for reinforcement and support of understandings. Lunch and materials will be provided. More Information

Fee:  $250 per person, includes all 3days for SMCAA member districts

         $350 per person, includes all 3 days for non-member districts
