“I want to know more about…”
March 2-3, 2023
The Lodge at Old Kinderhook
Ever feel like you are just sitting in the eye of a hurricane and watching the world spin around faster and faster around you? Sometimes it can feel like this with all the different changes and initiatives taking place these days, ranging from legislative updates to District movements. Often, we are left with more questions than answers wondering what to do and where to begin.
If that is you, and you “want to know more about…”, then make sure you sign up for the 2023 Winter Symposium! Taking results from the 2022 Fall membership survey, as well as questions we have received from the state, SMCAA has put together a smorgasbord of topics which will hopefully shed some light on the “but what about…” questions your district may have.
This two-day symposium will feature both whole group sessions, as well as time for each region to meet as a group. Filled with topics of high interest, round-table discussions, planning and preparing for our student’s future, time to collaborate with other Curriculum leaders across the state, and, as a bonus, an introduction to the SMCAA District Assessment Handbook template, this is something you won’t want to miss!
Target Audience: Curriculum Directors, Administrators, or lead teachers assigned to the duty of overseeing curriculum writing and implementation.
SMCAA Member Fee: $315 pp
Non-Member Fee: $415 pp
