On November 27th, DESE released administrative memo OQS-23-012 focusing on important dates related to the 2023 Annual Performance Report. The 2023 MSIP 6 APR is based on data from the 2022-23 school year. The Department of Elementary and Secondary Education considers multiple years of performance data prior to making classification recommendations; therefore, initial classification recommendations using the MSIP 6 APR performance data will be proposed after the release of the 2024 APR. The APR is also used by charter sponsors to inform renewal decisions.

The APR and supporting data will be available in the Missouri Comprehensive Data System portal for LEAs to review in advance of the public release. School leaders are invited to participate in a virtual meeting to learn more. The table below outlines the updated timeline of the 2023 APR rollout.
